This was one hell of a journey. Cas Sheridan and I embarked on a 17 day expedition with Quark Expeditions to capture all that we could along the way. We started from Ushuaia, most southern tip of Argentina, then sailed to the Falklands. After stopping there we set out out for the South Georgia Islands. This was definitely one of the most amazing places I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The Antarctic peninsula is something else. We saw 5 different species of penguins and home to some of the largest albatross colonies in the world. The adventure consisted on long nights in heavy waves, followed by long days of the same. We managed because of the unreal crew and expedition leaders that took care of us. I couldn’t speak more highly of a company. They were amazing and can’t wait to work together again someday!
