THE BASESETS // EDITING WORKSHOP

The Basesets consists of essentially two presets and custom tools that showcase a foundation for building out your own potential aesthetic. This package includes an in-depth video tutorial of how these “Clean” and “Matte” presets bring your work to the next level. This isn't a one click preset but a beginning point for your work to evolve. This tutorial walks through the editing process using each preset and teaches you what changes are made throughout the Lightroom adjustments, while also explaining the custom tools and modifiers within each preset. The whole purpose of the Basesets is to teach others how to edit and build a foundation for their own work, hence the "base" of what they do. It's essential to understand the tools, sliders, graphs, etc., of Lightroom to then understand exactly what "presets" even are. With the visual walkthrough and steps to using these presets, each creative will have a better understanding of what they already know or is completely new to them. This workshop is the right step in the direction in building out your cinematic approach to further your work. It’s time for you to create your own aesthetic and showcase that.

BEHIND THE SCENES // MAKING OF THE BASESETS

My good friend Eleshwa Fahmie captured Cas Sheridan and I at work during the filming of the this workshop. She was able to tell our story in creating this for you guys. Forever thankful for likeminded creatives who build one another up. She has always been such an inspiration and an incredible photographer. She has a true gift and quite the eye. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

+ I've purchased, now where are the workshop videos?

They're included in the link that was sent to you in your "Thank You" confirmation email. They are not downloadable videos so you'll need to login once you've clicked on that link to view.

+ Can I share my presets with other users?

Sharing presets with other users is strictly prohibited and is considered software piracy. Sharing is trackable. All verified instances of sharing will be reported to the proper authorities and legal action will be taken to the fullest extent allowable by law.

+ Missing camera profile or displays DVLOP X vs. Stache?

You'll need to refer back to the notes on the Lightroom capabilities listed on the site. Also, Lightroom CC and Classic act differently. Even though the camera profile says DVLOP X instead of Stache, it's the same thing, not to worry! Lightroom CC it's tunned to work without the Stache Profile so if you're seeing Adobe for the profile, that is totally normal. Make sure whichever Lightroom you're running is up to date. Still an issue with other things, contact support here.

+ How do I edit with the Basesets on my iPad or iPhone?

The Basesets will first have to be installed onto your computer before you can sync to Lightroom Mobile. Keep me mind that the modifiers won't be stackable on mobile, only on desktop.

+ How many computers can I install my presets on?

Each DVLOP license is for a single user, although packs may be installed across 2 computers (as long as they are for that single user). Please contact us at hello@dvlop.com should you need to install your DVLOP packs across more than 2 machines.

IMPORTANT NOTE ON SHARING: Sharing presets with other users is strictly prohibited and is considered software piracy. Sharing is trackable. All verified instances of sharing will be reported to the proper authorities and legal action will be taken to the fullest extent allowable by law.
